Our paths first crossed back in 2017, thanks to mutual friends involved in parallel philanthropic efforts at NJIT and Montclair State, supporting Children's Specialized Hospital. A "Young Professionals for the Kids" bar crawl in Hoboken led to sparks, but Brian's attempt to woo Katlynn afterwards with Good Burger and Chinese food became legendary as the "worst non-date ever," leading to a polite decline. Thankfully, Brian believed in second chances (and maybe the power of funny TikToks). After staying in touch, things finally clicked when they started dating seriously in 2021, proving that sometimes, the best things are worth waiting for.

From that point on, we dove headfirst into building a life together. We discovered shared passions for good tea, exploring cideries, and embarking on countless adventures, with Katlynn perfecting the art of being the 'passenger princess' on scenic drives. Our adventures took us near and far, including an unforgettable trip exploring the wonders of India in January 2023, where we marveled at the Taj Mahal and relaxed on Goan beaches. The journey deepened as we blended our lives, decorating Brian's house together before officially moving in together in late 2022, turning moments into milestones.

Knowing Katlynn is an avid reader who loves exploring bookstores, Brian orchestrated the perfect proposal in August 2023. He created a custom photo album titled "How Did We Get Here," placing it discreetly on a shelf during a bookstore date. The final page held the question, "Will you marry me?" catching Katlynn completely by surprise in a deeply personal and intimate moment. Her tearful 'yes' marked the beginning of our next great adventure, and we can't wait to celebrate the start of this new chapter with all of you!
